Note: The semi-tumbled stones have received a partial tumbling eliminating sharp edges from the mineral which however maintains the typical roughness of rough stones to the touch.
Lepidolite is a mineral belonging to the micas group. Its name derives from two Greek terms, “lepìs” and “lithos”, which mean respectively: scale and stone. Its color varies from pink to purplish-pink to reddish. It can be found in six-sided tabular crystals or in aggregates and scaly or compact masses. Despite its rarity, this mineral is the main source for lithium extraction.
