Note: The semi-tumbled stones have received a partial tumbling eliminating sharp edges from the mineral which however maintains the typical roughness of rough stones to the touch.
Angelite is a mineral composed of anhydrous calcium sulfate, commonly known as anhydrite. It has an evaporitic origin and is mainly derived from the transformation of gypsum deposits due to the loss of the water molecules contained in it. It comes in the form of massive aggregates or with a cluster structure, presenting colors ranging from white to blue. It is a relatively recent discovery in the world of minerals, in fact it was only found in 1987 in Peru.
